FULL PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
From Tender to Design, to Manufacture to Site Installation
RKN Aluminium are involved from the very start of projects to their completion. From design meetings, to product fabrication and instillation, our experience in all layers of the industry assists our main contractors in ensuring every project is carried out successfully.
🤝 Tender
We begin to estimate the price for our works, done as accurately, aiming to give our contractor and client the best possible value.
📐 Design
Having been awarded the project, we then begin to thoroughly detail our package, assessing interface detailing, working with architects and our main contractors. This process irons out any issues with the design, and ensures the project can run as smoothly as possible.
📑 Order Procurement
After the final specification of the job is confirmed, it is time for us to purchase materials. We use only the highest quality products, with our metal and glass being supplied by the hugely experienced Senior Architectural Systems and System 3 Glass.
🛠️ Manufacture
Once materials arrive, our skilled fabrication team to begin the manufacturing of the windows, doors, and curtain wall required for the project. Each item is fabricated with care and precision, allowing for the best possible fit for our site team.
🏗️ Site Installation
Once materials have been manufactured, our systems are ready to be delivered and fitted on site. Our committed and experienced site team install our systems efficiently , working closing with other trades on site to bring our contractor, and their client a successful project completion. We travel the length of the United Kingdom to ensure our systems & products are installed with precision and care.

COMPLETION
MMC OFF-SITE WORKS
Having developed our methodology for 2 years, we now offer MMC capabilities in the form of pre-glazed windows. Our windows are manufactured & glazed at our factory, to then be delivered to an off-site installation facility.
Installation of these frames can be by our installation teams or a third party, with second-fix works required once the walls are fitted on site, along with curtain walling & doorsets plus other elements where required.
We were awarded the MMC Dfe Framework in late 2020 with numerous projects allocated.
MANUFACTURE ONLY
In addition to our off-site production processes, being a manufacturing business ourselves, we understand the struggle of site logistics and inefficiency issues at the production stage. For this reason, we now offer our manufacturing services to those that require it, so you can ensure you meet production deadlines.
We have designed this service to be flexible; helping cater to our client’s immediate need. You can provide the materials required for production, or we can order them in. We only use the highest quality materials & accessories, meaning we ensure the same great quality products that you provide.
We discuss the details of the work, including products, sizes and quantities.
If needed, we purchase required materials or arrange delivery from yourselves to our factory.
We agree a return completed date to align with your required completion date on site.
Servicing
As of December 2019, RKN will begin to offer our personalised service plans to all our clients, ensuring that our curtain wall, windows and doors are properly maintained..
How it works
We create a service plan for your project, agreeing the frequency of inspection visits & products to be maintained.
INSPECTION & GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Bi-Yearly 1-day inspection of all RKN installed products, which includes a written report of items which may require replacement on an additional visit, and any works carried out on day of inspection.
General maintenance of these items is also included within this visit, such as lubrication of parts and re-adjustments to frame & leaf positions if needed.
ADDITIONAL VISITATION & PART REPLACEMENT
If our inspection visit brings up the need for a replacement part, we will arrange for operatives to attend site and replace / repair items as soon as possible, ensuring our products are working as intended
